Amy attended Herstmonceux Castle in East Sussex, England and graduated with an Honours B.A. in Anthropology from Wilfred Laurier University in 2001. Amy obtained her LLB from the University of Windsor and was called to the bar in 2007. She is a founding partner of McLeod Green Dewar LLP & Associates Kitchener.
Having witnessed the emotional and financial damage the court process causes to families, Amy is settlement focused and committed to resolving family disputes out of court. Trained as a collaborative legal professional, Amy looks forward to helping couples separate in an amicable, creative, and child-focused manner.
Amy is well-respected, often handling high conflict and complex family law cases. She deals with divorce, decision-making and parenting time for children, child and spousal support, property, and separation agreements. In 2024, Amy was appointed to act as a Dispute Resolution Officer (DRO) in the Kitchener Family Court.
