Owner and Therapist at Vitality Counselling Services with Barb Shannon. Barb’s goal is to help families navigate separation and divorce in a peaceful and constructive way.
With 25 years of experience in providing compassionate counselling and mediation services, she works with families, couples, children, and teens. As part of a collaborative family law team, she supports parents by offering insights into the impact of separation on children, teaching effective communication strategies, and helping prioritize children’s needs. Together, she will help you develop a child-centered parenting plan that serves as a realistic roadmap for post-divorce life. She believes a well-crafted plan promotes healthier outcomes for children, fosters better communication between parents, and reduces the impact of conflict.
